this is a character I just made today named Darma for "Regal Exhibition" : ( [link] ) hnnnng. I wanted to join this so bad and so I crammed all day to do it and I'm tired so... Good luck making sense of it all. NOW. I can work on my school work I should have worked on... Ages ago. -shot- orz

★｡ Name: Darma Kitsfield
★｡ Nickname: Dar, Ramma
★｡ Age: Nineteen
★｡ Hometown: Canalave City, Sinnoh Region
★｡ Occupation: Coordinator
★｡ Type Preference: Dark and Ghost. Yet she's not that picky.
★｡ Style: She's very weak in beauty. (If you didn't notice, a lot of her poke`mon aren't exactly the pretty type...) and not so good in Cute either. (Even though she does have a liking for Ghost poke`mon. It's just not ever something that was drilled into her head-- the whole "cute" idea. She finds some... odd things cute.) However she prides herself in the Tough and Cool category. However, she is pretty indifferent to Smart type.
★｡ Personality: Darma has a few different sides to her personality. She's eccentric and easily excited by stupid little things and is usually quite up beat. But on the other hand, if she doesn't get enough sleep or is tired, she's extremely lazy and will get mad or frustrated with someone really easily. She doesn't like to listen to other people when they try to tell her what to do because she's arrogant and self centered as hell. She doesn't like to help others unless it will inevitably benefit her. She pretends to change her mind a lot and act indifferent, but she's really a lot more sly and devious then she lets out to be. Darma usually doesn't talk about deep things with people because she thinks that it's a sign of weakness. I know, a big whoop so many characters are like that. But if you get her upset and she does wind up talking about deep stuff; you'd better have a lot of time. Because when she starts to let it out- it's ALL coming out and if you don't pay attention to her while she's talking about that sort of thing, she will rip you to pieces. Ooh, on that point, she's not afraid to get in a fight. Another part of being stubborn and arrogant. She's not worried about hurting peoples feelings, and thinks that she can just bat her eyes and act happy and she'll get away with it. ... and usually she does. And on a note that doesn't make her sound like a terrible and sneaky person, she usually doesn't get down a lot and doesn't like to show that she's always planning something. Darma has the motto: "someone has it worse than me. So I'll just be happy with that." And she acts as happy as a person could be. She'll freak out and run around like a mad person when she's just fooling around anywhere else (while she's watching you. Hurrhurrr.) but when she's put into a battle or contest, she turns into a totally different person and is as calm and collected as possible. It's a part of her strategy guys. "GET WITH MY PROGRAM." (I dunno. She's gonna be just a weirdo.)
★｡ Background: Darma was born and raised in Canalave city, with her loving mother and retired trainer father who loved to talk about his days as a trainer. Her father had obtained 6 Sinnoh badges and traveled all over Sinnoh and some of Hoenn, however never obtained any Hoenn badges. He had a love for steel poke`mon, and of course was good friends with the gym leader in Canalave city. Her father's pokemon team consisted of Aggaron, Lucario, Steelix, Magneton, and Mawile. While he ended his journey as a trainer soon after obtaining the Mawile and returning to Sinnoh to marry Darma's mother, he said he: "never regretted a single moment of it and would always talk about his adventures." ... And that he did. Darma grew up her whole life under the pressure of her father's rule and watchful eye, always telling her how much it would thrill him if she became the greatest trainer of all time. When Darma turned ten years old, Her father gave her his last poke`mon he had obtained, Mawile. While Darma didn't share the same love for Steel poke`mon as her father did, she accepted the gift anyway. However, Darma also didn't share the same love for battling as her father. She and that Mawile sat around for two years before any action towards being a trainer was taken. And when it was taken-- it was avalanched onto her. Darma's father wasn't going to sit around and watch his daughter stay in one town her whole life and not get out to experience the world and of course-- become the best there ever was. Her father turned into a drill Sargent and made sure she got a specific amount of training in every day so that her and her Mawile would become strong. When Darma turned thirteen she was hired to be one of the "lackys" at the Canalave gym seeing as she still loathed the idea of traveling away from home. Darma and Mawile were not easily beaten; however would still never become as good as the leader of Canalave, or so Darma figured. After obtaining two new poke`mon through trades in the city's market, Darma got a "crazy" little idea. With the help of Mawile, Skuntak, and a poke`mon Hoiiga someone from the Isshu region had traded her, she thought she would challenge the leader of Canalave. She trained for awhile, and on her fourteenth birthday she challenged him, and somehow won. Her father was enthralled by this, and insisted that she go out and compete in more gym battles. Reluctant at first but finally deciding it wouldn't hurt, she set out awhile after her fifteenth birthday. She obtained mroe poke`mon on her journey and gained 7 badges in Sinnoh (Save for the Hearthome city.) and 6 badges in Hoenn over the course of two years. When she was seventeen she returned to Sinnoh and Canalave to show her father what she'd done. Of course, he was disappointed she hadn't done more, and suggested that she go defeat the gym leader of Hearthome and then challenge the poke`mon league. Supposing it wasn't that bad of an idea with how far she's already come, she set off to Hearthome. When in the city, she was none the less frustrated when the leader said she would not take her challenge, but was instead busy participating in a contest. Furious that her challenge was not accepted, but showing respect to the older gym leader, Darma inquired as to what a "contest" was. The gym leader explained and offered for the trainer to come along and watch her compete. Accepting, Darma soon found herself in the large contest hall, the lights dimmed and a spotlight showing on contestants. Darma watched, wide-eyed and enthusiastic the entire time. When the competition was over, Fantina accepted Darma's challenge to a gym battle, and Darma soon had all 8 Sinnoh badges. However, Darma did not return home. Instead, she enrolled herself into every contest in Hearthome possible and training now for contests. She competed in eleven contests before winning her first ribbon. And then taking on another seven contests to get two more ribbons. She couldn't tell really why; but those tree ribbons seemed to make her more happy then the 15 gym badges. Maybe, if she spent as much time training in contests as she had in battling, she would become just as good one day. Well, that was all she could hope for.
Darma heard of the Mirun region and the large contest known as the "Regal Exhibition", and while still being a contest novice, she decided to quickly move to the region and train for the contests while still only having three ribbons. Of course, her parents know little about her moving to the region and why she is there. Her father was displeased by her change of course, and refused to support her. She hopes by possibly winning the Regal Exhibition she can show her father that coordinating means as much to her as gym battles meant to him.

Sableye is one of the poke`mon Darma acquired when she was in the Hoenn region. After defeating the second gym there, she wandered into a cave and found him. Darma likes jewelry and was wearing a shiny necklace, the Sableye came out of the shadows and approached her. She was able to catch it really easy after figuring out his attraction to jewelry and shiny things. She figures that the Sableye is mostly blind but can see shadows and bright things, which explains a bit of his attraction. Sableye is only sneaky when he wants to get something, otherwise he's rather blunt and clumsy. He's actually one of her newest poke`mon, one of the worst for battles, but is good in contests. She occasionally calls him "Sabes" or "Pretty Boy" if she's trying to get his attention. It's not his direct nickname, but he knwos that she's talking to him.

Pendoraa is another poke`mon Darma acquired over trade from a fisherman from the Isshu region that came into Canalave's ports. She traded a Hoiiga in exchange for a Quilfish. She trained this poke`mon but did not evolve it for her battle against the Canalave gym leader. In fact, Darma never let the Hoiiga evolve into Pandoraa until she came into the Hoenn region when she let it evolve as a sort of celebration. Pendoraa was her father's least favorite of her poke`mon because it was from a region he hasn't been to. Pendoraa has a special place in Darma's heart simply because it's different from the rest of her poke`mon. Pendoraa doesn't have any special nickname or even an occasional nickname.

Not really much to say about Mr. Skuntank. She acquired him from a trade with someone who was visiting Canalave city. She traded a Floatzel she'd caught near her town in exchange for the stunky which she trained up to be a skuntank before her battle with the Canalave city gym leader. She continued to train him as she trained through her journey using him to trump quite a few gym leaders. Skuntank is the only poke`mon of Darma's that actually has a nickname. Skuntank is more commonly known as "Stun".

Drapion is the newest addition to Darma's party and was caught as a skorupi before Darma's final battle with Fantina. Though Darma trained it from a skorupi for quite some time, the poke`mon still never knew much about battling seeing as it only went through it's one battle against Fantina. Drapion is a very common poke`mon for Darma to use in a contest because she feels that cool contests suit her best and Drapion is the most skilled when it comes to contests. Drapion seems to do most of the things it does for itself and not for Darma, and she still has trouble controlling him at times, though their bond is growing. And yes, sometimes she will call him "Drapes".

Mawile was Darma's first poke`mon given to her by her father who wanted her so dearly to become a trainer who did nothing but battle. Herfather had a love for steel poke`mon and caught Mawile while he was in the Hoenn region on his own journey. He never really used the poke`mon seeing as his journey ended soon after he caught the Mawile. For Darma's tenth birthday he tired the red ribbon on her and gave the Mawile to Darma as a present. Mawile is often kept out of her poke`ball and is the most powerful, seeing as she is the oldest of Darma's poke`mon. Darma loves the poke`mon dearly and keeps the red ribbon on her to remember her father and what she is trying to prove to her father. Occasionally Darma calls her "Mawwy", but that's rare and usually only happens when Darma is tired / delirious.

★｡ Additional information: Darma doesn't like a lot of food. She's pretty picky and usually only likes sweet things.
She likes any colors that are bright mixed with black. She's kinda' like a raver. Hurrr.
She keeps her 5 poke`balls in a chain attached to her belt.
Darma likes to wear corsets.
She has six different pairs of headphones and almost always has her MP3 player and some kind of music going. (she likes Metal, Techno, and Drum and Bass most of all. Occasionally hip hop.)
Men mean nothing to her. She believes that women can do anything that a man can and won't let anyone tell her otherwise.
She likes necklaces and jewelry.
Constantly dyes her hair red. Because red is just her favorite hair color.
She likes to wear bright shoes most of all.
Is open to the idea of adding one more poke`mon to her team but doesn't think it will happen.
